Houthi Militants Killed, Injured; Vehicle Destroyed in Taiz Clash

Government forces in Taiz repelled a Houthi infiltration attempt in the Salou front, resulting in casualties among the militia and the destruction of a military vehicle.

Military sources from the 35th Armored Brigade reported that government troops engaged Houthi militia elements attempting to advance in the Salou area, located in the southeastern part of Taiz Governorate. The confrontation led to deaths and injuries among the Houthi forces.

Artillery units of the 35th Armored Brigade targeted a Houthi military vehicle that was attempting to move towards the vicinity of Al-Furqan School in the Al-Sa'ila area, below the Salou pass. The vehicle was completely destroyed by the shelling, and militants on board sustained casualties.

The sources confirmed that the infiltration attempt was unsuccessful due to the effective monitoring and targeting of Houthi movements by government forces. The government troops maintain control over their positions in the front and continue to monitor for any hostile activities.
