Yemeni Armed Forces Launch Strategic Offensive to Reclaim Sana'a

The Yemeni Armed Forces have officially initiated a strategic offensive aimed at reclaiming the capital, Sana'a, as part of the newly launched "Dawn of Yemen" military operation, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing campaign against Houthi insurgent forces.

The military coalition supporting the Yemeni government confirmed that the operation involves the deployment of 100 combat aircraft. According to official reports, coalition forces have successfully neutralized 324 high-value targets since the onset of the campaign. The coalition maintains continuous air support for ground operations while simultaneously ensuring the security of the strategically vital Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

On the domestic front, government forces have launched a broad offensive against Houthi positions in the Harad district of Hajjah Governorate. This push is complemented by intensified military maneuvers across multiple fronts in Taiz Governorate, where government troops have reported significant territorial gains.

Military sources indicated that government forces have advanced in the Jabal Habashi front, located west of Taiz. The ensuing intense combat resulted in the destruction of several Houthi military vehicles and the capture of multiple insurgent combatants.

The "Dawn of Yemen" operation is explicitly designed to dismantle the Houthi insurgency, restore state institutions, and liberate Sana'a from militia control. Military operations remain ongoing across various axes as part of a comprehensive effort to re-establish sovereign authority over territories currently held by the Houthi forces.
