Intensified Clashes and Airstrikes Reported Across Northern Taiz Front
Military confrontations between government forces and Houthi militias escalated significantly on Friday along the northern front of Taiz, as intense fighting broke out across multiple sectors of the city.
The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces reported that coalition aircraft conducted 20 airstrikes over the past several hours. These operations specifically targeted Houthi movements, reinforcements, troop concentrations, and military hardware across various regions within the Taiz governorate, including Hamir, Bani Bakari, Samie, Al-Aqrud, 60th Street, Al-Amoor, Midi Bani Hassan, and Al-Wazi'iyah.
According to the military statement, the airstrikes achieved direct hits on their intended objectives. The operation reportedly resulted in significant casualties among Houthi militia ranks and caused extensive damage to their military equipment and operational logistics in the area.
