National Resistance Forces Repel Houthi Attacks and Down Three Drones in Taiz and Hodeidah

National Resistance Forces successfully repelled a series of intense Houthi offensives along the Al-Barh and Hodeidah frontlines on Thursday, following 15 hours of continuous combat operations.

According to reports from military media, the clashes erupted at dawn and involved the use of various heavy and medium weaponry. The fighting spanned critical areas including Saqam, Hadhiya, and Al-Barasha in the Maqbana district of Taiz, as well as the Al-Kadha and Al-Barh regions along the administrative borders of Hodeidah province.

Military officials confirmed that the National Resistance Forces maintained their defensive positions, effectively thwarting the Houthi incursions. The engagement resulted in significant casualties among the insurgent ranks and the destruction of several pieces of military equipment, forcing the Houthi forces to retreat from the frontlines.

During the confrontation, the 52nd Infantry Brigade successfully intercepted and downed three Houthi reconnaissance and attack drones as they attempted to conduct operations over the battlefield. Military media outlets have since released footage documenting the wreckage of the neutralized aircraft.
