Shabwah Governor Emphasizes Readiness in Bayhan-Hurayb Front

Shabwah Governor and Security Committee Chairman, Awad Mohammed bin Al-Wazir, has stressed the critical importance of enhancing the combat readiness of armed forces stationed in the Bayhan-Hurayb front. He affirmed that supporting military units and bolstering their capabilities are paramount for maintaining security, stability, and effectively confronting field challenges.

This directive was issued during a meeting with the commander of the Third Brigade of Shabwah Defense and the commander of the Bayhan-Hurayb front, Brigadier General Fawzi Hussein Al-Saadi. Governor Al-Wazir was briefed on the latest military developments, operational progress, and the current state of combat preparedness in the front lines.

Bin Al-Wazir commended the significant sacrifices made by members of the armed forces, acknowledging their vigilance and discipline in repelling attacks launched by Houthi militias. He reiterated the local authority's commitment to providing ongoing logistical and material support to enhance troop efficiency and consolidate security and stability within the governorate.

Brigadier General Fawzi Al-Saadi, in turn, provided an update on field operations, detailing that military units are efficiently carrying out their duties and effectively countering repeated assaults by Houthi militias, including the use of drones. He highlighted the forces' high combat readiness and constant preparedness.

Concluding the meeting, the Shabwah Governor called for intensified training and qualification programs, along with enhanced coordination among various military and security units. This, he emphasized, will further elevate readiness to confront emerging threats, underscoring that the Bayhan-Hurayb front is a strategic theater in the ongoing effort to restore state institutions and safeguard national gains.
