Iran establishes a base on the Yemeni island of Kamaran

Iran has established a military base on the shores of the Red Sea, with the aim of supplying the Houthi rebels with weapons, and facilitating piracy and damage to the international shipping lane, in addition to serving as a launching pad for future expansionist operations. Informed sources said.

The sources said that Tehran has been working on Kamaran Island for over a year through military construction and excavation of tunnels, as well as the construction of large fuel tanks of various types. Additionally, they have established several workshops for the manufacturing and assembly of ballistic missiles and drones.

Sources have indicated that currently, under the guidance of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, there are plans to connect Ras Isa to the Hadhramaut Governorate in order to facilitate the transportation and smuggling of weapons and drugs into Yemen.

The island is witnessing intense activities with the aim of completing Iran military base, especially after the rapprochement between Tehran and Riyadh. It was noted that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has been training many Yemeni citizens who have recently been recruited under the pretext of fighting Israel and America. The sources confirmed.

A source who attended the training revealed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is conducting training exercises on the island, specifically focusing on the assembly and launch of ballistic missiles, as well as the potential invasion of the Saudi port of Jeddah. These actions are allegedly in response to claims of Saudi cooperation with Israel.
