Iran-backed Houthis arrest intelligence officers

The Iran-backed Houthis carried out a large-scale campaign of arrests, targeting dozens of members of the Security and Intelligence Service, which is under their control, in addition to non-commissioned officers working in the Military Intelligence headed by the terrorist Abu Ali Al Hakim.

Members of the so-called Preventive Security (a Houthi's intelligence service) carried out a large-scale campaign of arrests and raids on the homes of dozens of officers of the National Security and Political Security Services in the capital, Sana'a, and the governorates of Ibb and Dhamar. Security sources told Khabar Agency.

The so-called Preventive Security elements began a campaign of arrests since the middle of last week, and intensified after the announcement of the "death" of the Iranian ambassador to the Houthis, Hassan Erlo. Security sources said.

The arrest campaign coincided with the Arab coalition's disclosure of the involvement of leaders in the terrorist Hezbollah in leading the battles in Yemen, and the revelation of a video showing the terrorist Abu Ali al-Hakim receiving directions from an officer of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

The Arab Coalition revealed on Sunday evidence proving the involvement of Lebanon’s Shia Hezbollah militia in Yemen and in using the country’s airport to target Saudi Arabia.

The Coalition showed pictures of Hezbollah members training the Houthi militia to launch explosive-laden drones.

Coalition spokesman Brigadier General Turki al-Malki said in a press conference: “The Houthis do not have the ability to make the decision to be part of the political solution in Yemen.”

The sources told Khabar Agency that there are sharp disputes among the Houthi leaders.

For his part, a source in the Military Intelligence Service in San'a'a said that there is an undeclared state of emergency in all security and intelligence institutions under the control of the Houthis.
