Torture Death in Ibb Recalls Al-Aghbri Case, Demands Justice

The death of a young man, Mohammed Mohammed Abdo Al-Najjar, following torture in a residence in the Sayyani district of Ibb Governorate has sparked widespread public outrage, with calls for the swift apprehension and prosecution of all those involved.

Local sources reported that the victim was lured to a house in the Dammagh area under the pretext of assisting with the emergency care of a family member. He was subsequently assaulted and tortured by several individuals, identified as his relatives, leading to his demise.

Video footage documenting the crime has circulated widely online. Preliminary information suggests that the perpetrators were coercing the victim into confessing to accusations of practicing sorcery before he succumbed to his injuries.

According to sources, the main suspect remains at large. Public demands are intensifying for the immediate arrest of all accomplices and the completion of the investigation, with a call for the case to be brought before the judiciary for appropriate legal sanctions.
