Houthi shelling kills and injures 8 from one family in Hodeidah

A child was killed and seven others, women and children, were injured, on Monday, in a bombing carried out by the Iran-backed Houthis on a populated village, in Hays, Yemen's Hodeidah Governorate.

Local sources reported that a Houthi drone strike targeted the village of Al-Roon, north of Hays, south of Hodeidah Governorate, which resulted in the death of the 7-year-old child, Ayman Abdo Ahmed Abkar, and the injury of seven family members.

The sources added that a medical rescue team from the joint forces rushed to the targeted village and transferred the wounded to the field hospital in the city of Mocha.
